Our Story

In the last quarter of 2010, MACQUARIE textile solutions’ conducted a national client questionnaire targeted to the architectural and design market.

 

Our aim was to gain honest feedback from a client perspective to identify strengths and weaknesses to reinforce our presence within this market sector.

 

The outcome clearly identified that, as a brand, we were communicating across a number of different market sectors but not specifically meeting the needs of this market.

 

There was a need for the MACQUARIE textile solutions’ ranges to remain but it highlighted whether we could achieve what we were looking for under this reign.

 

A decision was made to introduce a new brand encompassing a new name, identity and product ranges.

 

Through our collaborative creative journey taking inspiration from iconic fashion designers, the identity of mac+ evolved.

 

The brand reflects a youthful exuberance with a play on architectural elements through the use of bold colour.
